Dacon Rescue Scoop RSB / RSC

RSB

Power assisted recovery for SAR-, Wind Farm Service & Utility vessels

Dacon Rescue Scoop RSB is a smaller model than the RSA, and a semi-rigid rescue net operated by a standard deck crane. The Scoop is light-weight and flexible and provides a gentle recovery also for injured, exhausted, or unconscious persons in the water.

The casualty is recovered in a horizontal position with full body support, to avoid further injury or shock.

The Scoop is suspended from the ship’s side, and it provides an effective, heavy weather recovery system with a rescue reach of about 2-4 m depending on dimensions and crane reach. The equipment is compactly stowed in a crib on the inside of the railing. We have special slim-profile cradle solutions for vessels where available space is limited.

The RSB model has been supplied to several Windfarm Service Vessel projects.

Our Rescue Scoop meet DNV`s requirements of being able to recover a helpless person from the sea.

The Dacon Maritime Rescue Equipment is tailored to each specific vessel, so please contact us with a GA drawing to find a suitable solution for you.
